Residential Care with Nursing
Lewis Martin Court is a residential care home with nursing for disabled adults who have a range of complex needs and learning difficulties.
For us, it’s about more than just accommodation and personal care. Our service provides a safe and supportive environment where individuals can meet their personal aspirations and pursue their future goals. Our care home can act as a stepping stone to independent living and we work with everyone involved to plan for the future.
We hope that after spending time with us you’ll be closer than ever to achieving your aspirations and you can:
• practice everyday living skills
• learn how to live independently
• build your confidence and self esteem
• access further education colleges
• participate in leisure facilities
• plan for your future
• meet new friends.
Through our flexible and individualised support you’ll gain new skills, confidence and independence. It’s your choice what you do.
Everyone needs some time off once in a while. Disabled people can take a short break, also known as respite care, at Lewis Martin Court, while carers take some time off.
Lewis Martin Court is fully accessible, well-equipped and provides a range of activities. Individuals can socialise with others, enjoy trips out or simply relax.
Is it for you?
Join other young disabled adults aged 18 to 30 with complex physical and learning difficulties including dysphagia, epilepsy, cerebral palsy and physical impairments.
It’s a vibrant, stimulating and inspiring place to live, learn and socialise. You’ll stay with other young people in a self-contained bungalow. You'll share the housework and do your own cooking, and we’ll support you to get out and do things you enjoy locally.
We will talk with you – and others in your life who you want us to – to find out what’s important and how you like to be supported. Together, we’ll develop a support plan around the things you want to do, with a focus on what you’d like to achieve.
To get a taste for the place, get in touch and arrange a visit or give us a call for more information.
